I am fascinated by light and shadow, by connections between people, by perfect imperfection and by all things sentimental and sometimes a bit daggy.

I photograph people as I see them and am in love with the whole spectrum of human emotion from explosive joy to the depths of sorrow.

I photograph the real, the story, the details, the beauty, the sticky faces of toddlers, the scowling faces of teenagers, the misty eyes of a groom seeing his bride walk down the aisle, the reflective calm on the face of a grandparent, the chubby bubba cheeks, the sass of a woman with a makeover, the pride of new parents, all of it as I observe it unfolding in front of me.

I specialise in easy wedding shoots, vintage and pinup photography, clucking over new babies and laughing too hard at misbehaving children and I am very experienced at photographing children with additional needs and disabilities.  My sessions in all situations are fun, relaxed and patient. No cheesy posing, no painful "hold that pose" and no expectation of children cooperating.

With over 10 years of photography experience, originally training in film photography, I have a great understanding of light and perspective in any and all situations.
